Green Earth is reaching out to our neighbors in the Verde Valley, seeking nominations for individuals who would benefit from the services of a professional landscaping company to tidy up their property. We all know someone who may require assistance in maintaining their landscaping due to physical limitations. Green Earth aims to lend a helping hand by offering our services free of charge to a deserving recipient.

The goal is to identify individuals who are unable, rather than unwilling, to manage tasks such as weeding, shrub trimming, tree lifting, debris removal, and more. A property will be chosen by the third week of the month, with the work scheduled for completion by month-end.

Selection criteria include the nominee’s residency in Sedona, VOC, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cornville, Rimrock, Lake Montezuma, or Camp Verde, with preference given to veterans and senior citizens. The property should typically be a residential lot of 10,000-12,000 square feet, with limitations on trash removal (only brush) and properties not currently for sale. Self-nominations are discouraged.

The selected property will receive the following complimentary services:
– Weed removal and line trimming
– Shrub trimming
– Tree lifting (up to 8 feet off the ground)
– Debris removal and blowing off of hard surfaces
– Rock raking
– Grass cutting
– Disposal of brush and debris at an authorized landfill.
